Thrown from a Scottish native stoneware clay found in Glasgow’s West End, and Shino glazed.
The finish on the Shino glaze is very dependent on thickness of application and shows lovely variation from semi-matt rusty red through to gloss, crackled white. Inclusions in the clay body speckle and melt in the firing, adding further interest to the surface.
