Thrown from a textured stoneware clay with a shallow turned foot and with white slip and a Nuka-style glaze on the interior.
This low bowl could be used in place of a dinner plate or as a serving dish.
Nuka glazes originate from Japan and use rice straw ash as a main ingredient. Without local access to rice straw I have used native reed ash which is chemically similar and a good substitute.
