Thrown and turned stoneware low bowl in a very textured, iron-rich clay body.
This bowl or serving dish is un-glazed and has a dry but slightly metallic sheen to the surface. Use the image zoom to see the wonderful blistery, crackly, varied surface. At first look it might not seem practical but the clay is fully vitrified, non-porous and is easy to wash. Having said that it is probably best suited to drier foods rather than sauces or stews.
The teapot is not included but is available to buy separately.
