Tea set comprising a small teapot, two small cups and a tray.
The teapot is unglazed on the exterior and made from an iron-rich clay body with a wonderfully tactile surface. It has been intentionally fired to a temperature where the clay starts to soften, inclusions begin to melt, bubble and crackle and the surface becomes metallic in the reduction atmosphere.
The two cups are thrown from porcelain with ash glazes.
The tray is also unglazed, and thrown from a textured stoneware clay
